My desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives started in my youth. While attending John F. Kennedy High School, in Bellmore, NY, I was president of the Key Club, the oldest and largest student-led service organization for high school students, sponsored by the local Kiwanis club. Its goal was, and still is, to teach leadership, caring and character through helping those in the community in need. That conviction, along with my creative artistic skills, made dentistry a perfect fit for me.

Being able to make an individual look better, be more comfortable, and feel better about themselves gives me the utmost satisfaction. Connecting with patients on an individual and personal level, not just professional, is not only rewarding but enables me to deliver care that is optimal for each and every patient. My team and I derive great satisfaction in gaining the confidence of an apprehensive or fearful patient and thus allowing them to be relaxed in a dental setting.

After graduating Binghamton University with a major in biology I spent a year working at Nassau University Medical Center. I went on to a leading dental school, Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri, having had the honor of being chosen for their freshman class of 80 out of 4,200 applicants.

Following dental school graduation, I entered a one-year General Practice Residency at Lutheran Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY. The dental residents were an elite group of 4 selected from an applicant pool of 400 dentists. Here I received advanced training in all the dental specialties including prosthodontics (reconstructive dentistry), periodontics (gums), endodontics (root canals), oral surgery, and orthodontics.

After associate-ships at three prestigious Long Island dental offices, I purchased my present office in Merrick where I was raised. Here, in my hometown, I felt I could make a difference in the community that gave me so much growing up. It has been an honor to serve and care for my fellow Merokians and my other patients from the surrounding communities on Long Island and New York City.

I have been blessed by an incredible caring, talented and professional team. They believe that the focus of your every visit in my office is you, your comfort, exceeding your expectations and improving your oral health. My team and I are always here to see you as soon as possible should a dental emergency (Dental Emergencies) arise.

Because of my desire to provide you with the finest dental care available anywhere, not only do I equip my office with the latest dental technology but I keep my knowledge up-to-date as well.

I continually update my skills and knowledge on a monthly basis via professional publications and continuing education courses in all fields of dentistry, including cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, prosthodontics (reconstruction), periodontics (gums), endodontics (root canals), sleep apnea and snoring treatment, and pharmacology. Our study group, Nassau Dental Perspectives, sponsors some of the most renowned lecturers in dentistry.
