Smile Gallery – Dental Case Study Photos
Our goal is to make a positive and lasting difference in your life, improving your self-esteem, comfort, and confidence. With that in mind, we try to understand your needs from a personal, esthetic, and emotional standpoint.
All the dentistry we do in our office is cosmetic dentistry. No one comes to the dentist intent on looking worse after treatment! The individuals in the gallery shown are our actual patients taken by Dr. Levy with our office camera. None of the images have been altered and no colors have been corrected. No Photoshopping!
Complex Dental Implant, Porcelain Veneers and Crowns, and Ceramic-Porcelain Bridge
This patient was a 17-year-old girl who just had her braces removed and was preparing to go off to college. Three upper teeth were congenitally missing. A spacing problem existed that could not be fully corrected orthodontically. She was very shy, quiet, rarely smiled and was extremely self conscious about her teeth. My whole team could not help but empathize with her. This was a very complex case consisting of dental implants, porcelain veneers and crowns and a highly esthetic ceramic-porcelain bridge. The results were superb! The best part for us was her new confident, outgoing personality and glowing smile.
Six Upper Front Teeth with All Porcelain Ceramic Crowns
This is a middle aged gentleman who had worn, discolored teeth, and deteriorating older dentistry. He was seeking a more youthful look and wanted to be able to smile with confidence. Dr. Levy was able to place six natural looking, exquisite, state-of-the-art porcelain ceramic crowns. These crowns have a foundation of a high tech tooth colored ceramic rather than metal making them superbly esthetic. This was comfortably performed in only 3 visits using our iTero 3D Imaging Scanner. No conventional goop in the mouth impressions were taken.
Four Porcelain Veneers
This man “hated” the way his teeth looked which made him feel embarrassed at work where he was always meeting new clients. He did not like the space between his teeth, the mottled, worn appearance, the crack lines that showed, and his “crooked” smile. However, he did not want his teeth looking like white Chicklets either, but desired an appearance that would be age appropriate. In two appointments, Dr. Levy fabricated four natural looking porcelain veneers that has him all smiles.
Full Upper Implant Reconstruction
This lady was very unhappy with her full upper denture. She could not enjoy eating, especially in social settings and had a constant fear of it dropping down when she was speaking. At times, she told us, that she felt she was becoming a hermit as the denture made her shy away from being in public. After careful planning, Dr. Steven Levy made her a secure implant supported fixed bridge (crowns). Now, with a lovely, natural smile and renewed confidence, our patient goes out to dinner with her friends, eats whatever she wants, and has a budding social life.
Upper Dental Implant Reconstruction
This patient is a 52 year old construction worker who lost all but two of his upper teeth due to accident trauma and prior neglect. The thought of a full upper denture was very objectionable to him. He wanted natural feeling upper teeth whose color and form were age appropriate for his burly appearance. He emphasized that he did not want “pearly whites”. Seven dental implants were placed on which were inserted the abutments (posts) and then the final, highly esthetic crowns (caps). After years of dental discomfort, social awkwardness and difficulty eating he could once again feel comfortable and confident in his appearance.
Single Tooth Whitening
This young lady was very self conscious about smiling. She was unhappy with the appearance of her left upper central incisor which discolored over time due to trauma and a root canal that was done years before. Dr. Levy applied and internal bleach to her tooth. Three days later she returned, all smiles
Central Incisor Knocked Out and Replaced with Implant
This young man lost his upper front tooth due to a traumatic injury. Note the tears and damage to his gums. Dr. Levy immediately fabricated a temporary tooth to restore esthetics. Once healed, the lost tooth was replaced with a precisely matched implant supported porcelain crown. Note how exactly the natural color variations of the surrounding teeth have been duplicated.
Cosmetic Enhancement of Upper Front Teeth
This patient was a public speaker. She expressed that her old crowns and crooked gumline made her uncomfortable on stage. After cosmetic correction of her gumline, Dr. Levy placed beautiful new crowns. Our patient later told us that her new smile made her feel confident in front of her audiences.
Before: Note irregular gumline and poor esthetics.
After: Note even gumline and pleasing color
Cosmetic Correction of Older Gentleman’s Front Teeth
Young grandchildren can be surprisingly honest when it comes to appearances. That was the case with this grandfather. He told us that ever since his little granddaughter commented how poorly his teeth looked, he shuddered to imagine what others thought. Dr. Levy placed two fabulous porcelain central incisor crowns, accurately matching the surrounding teeth. The chipped right lateral incisor was esthetically reshaped to match the one on the left. Both the patient and his granddaughter were thrilled!
Smile Make Over of Four Upper Front Teeth
This lady was self conscious of her four upper front teeth that she described as horrible. Four beautiful new crowns were placed giving her an even, natural smile. And smile she did!
Cosmetic Make Over of a Teenage Boy in Two Visits
This young man and his parents thought his teeth looked funny. In order to give a more satisfying appearance, Dr. Levy bonded his two central incisors, filling in the gap between them. Beautiful porcelain veneers were then placed on his two lateral incisors, correcting their previous peg shapes. This teenage boy now had a great smile for the ladies!
Cosmetic Dentistry with Whitening and All Ceramic Crowns (Caps)
This 59 year old woman “hated” the appearance of her teeth for years and wanted a timely dental cosmetic makeover for her daughter’s wedding which was only 2 months away. First, our superb in-office whitening was performed with excellent results. Next was two visits to place all ceramic “Emax” crowns on her four upper front teeth. Our fabulous lab technician custom contoured and color matched her new teeth. Now the patient has a smile she’s always wanted for a special day in her life.
